No. We use all-purpose flour to make our cookies. Even though our carefully-followed baking techniques can reduce the amount of additional glutens the flour itself contains glutens from the start.

The recipe for Lenore’s Lemon Puffs is an original, non-traditional approach to the lemon cookie with a targetted result making it very unique. So our testing of a new gluten-free recipe will take some time.

Yes. Our cookies contain no preservatives. If kept in an airtight container they will stay naturally fresh for up to a week (7 days). All orders are baked and shipped the next day, before 10:00 a.m. so both of the USPS methods (below) can ensure you will recieve fresh, delicious cookies.

Lenore’s Lemon Puffs are safe if kept at room temperature. Some people prefer to keep them in the refigrator—as the coolness enhances the lemon zest.

Our Ingredients: butter, pure cane sugar, farm fresh eggs, organic lemon juice, organic wax-free lemon zest, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. No additives or preservatives.

The lemons we use are organically-grown and the zest is free from wax. This assures not only the highest quality of lemons and zest are used—but it’s essential in maintaining the flavor profiles and the uniqueness of the cookie.
